Rules and Regulations
HOURS OF OPERATION 7 AM- 1O PM
- Stoop & Scoop is mandatory
- Dogs must be kept on leash until inside the double gated area
- Dog owners & handlers are subject to the Ontario Dog Owner’s Liability Act & the Norfolk County Animal Control By-law
- Park users & dog owners assume all risks related to off-leash dog area usage
- Owner’s dogs must have up to date vaccination & license tags
- Dogs that are in heat, sick, or aggressive are not allowed & must be removed
- No more than 2 dogs per individual allowed in the off-leash dog area at the same time
- All children under 12 yrs. of age must be supervised by an adult while inside the off-leash dog area
- No food (human & canine) permitted in the off-leash dog area
- No smoking in off-leash dog area
- Loose collars, dog clothing, & bandannas are not allowed in off—leash area
- Dogs must be under control
- Durable tennis sized balls are the only toys permitted in the off-leash area
- Pro. dog trainers are not permitted to use the off-leash area for business purposes
- All pit bulls must be muzzled
